Vi søger lige nu to politiske praktikanter til det kommende forårssemester!

Ambassaden i Dublin er en mindre ambassade, hvilket gør, at du som praktikant får prøvet kræfter med alle aspekter af ambassadearbejdet. Vi kan tilbyde dig en afvekslende hverdag med selvstændigt ansvar og mulighed for at præge dine arbejdsopgaver. Som praktikant på ambassaden får du et tæt indblik i, hvordan den danske udenrigstjeneste fungerer, og du kommer til at bidrage til ambassadens samarbejde med irerne om politiske spørgsmål, økonomi og handel.

MEET OUR NEW AUTUMN INTERNS HERE AT THE EMBASSY, SARA AND MAGNUS!

Sara is in her second year of her master’s degree in Global and Development Studies at Roskilde University, while Magnus is studying Political Science in the last year of his master’s degree at Aarhus University.

As interns they contribute to the Embassy’s work in Ireland on political areas, trade- and economics, communications, and public diplomacy and help strengthen the Danish-Irish relations.

We are looking forward to working with both of you over the next 6 months!

If you want to join our team, we are currently looking for interns for the spring semester 2027, you can apply from the 10th of August!

”The Embassy of Mythologies” is the result of an architectural workshop, which takes place in Waterford and is arranged by three Danes from EASA Denmark

During its two-week duration, the workshop engages with storytelling as a foundation for an embassy that creates a platform for exchange through myths. For two weeks, they are collecting Waterford's myths: ones that they hear, see, invent and reinvent.

On Friday 7th August at 3pm they will roll their embassy into the city, share the stories they have gathered, and invite you to come and share your story and leave a clay handprint on their embassy.

Come meet them at John Roberts Square in Waterford. Who knows, you might become part of a new myth!

Góða Ólavsøku/Happy Ólavsøka! Today is the National Day of the Faroe Islands 🇫🇴

The Faroe Islands is an archipelago of 18 mountainous islands in the North Atlantic and is a self-governing country within The Kingdom of Denmark.

Did you know that Ólavsøka marks the yearly opening of the Faroese Parliament Løgtingið, which is thought to be one of the oldest Parliaments in the world, dating back to around year 800?

We wish the Faroe Islands a happy celebration.

The Danish contribution is created by the well-recognized Danish photographer Fryd Frydendahl and it is absolutely brilliant!
