In celebration of the upcoming 12th International Day of Yoga 2026 🧘‍♂️ , India in Ireland (Embassy of India, Dublin), in collaboration with KASSI - Indians In Dundalk and VHP Ireland, organized a special Curtain Raiser event at the Kilcurry Resource Centre, , County Louth.

The event brought together yoga enthusiasts and community members to promote the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of Yoga.

India in Ireland (Embassy of India, Dublin) celebrated the 12th International Day of Yoga (IDY) 🧘‍♂️ today at park with the participation of around 450 people from across Ireland.

The event was held under this year’s theme: “Yoga for Healthy Ageing.” The event was supported by the Yoga Institutes and Indian Community Associations in Ireland.

On this occasion, Ambassador H.E. Shri Manish Gupta addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of yoga in promoting holistic well-being. Senator Mr. Joe Flaherty the occasion and facilitated the winners of Yoga Pose Competition organised by the Embassy.

The event was attended by practitioners and enthusiasts from all walks of life including Diplomatic Corps, Yoga Institutes, Friends of India and Indian Diaspora.
