The Creative Ireland Programme is an invitation to the entire country to get involved in something truly inspirational. Creative Ireland is the Government’s Legacy Programme for Ireland 2016 – a five-year initiative, from 2017 to 2022, which places creativity at the centre of public policy. Creative Ireland will bring an enhanced level of coordination, focus and leadership to existing policies and

initiatives across national and local government, State agencies, the arts and culture sector, Gaeltacht and Irish language organisations, and will provide linkages to the private business and NGO sectors. Is ionann an Clár Éire Ildánach is cuireadh don tír ar fad páirt a ghlacadh i rud éigin thar a bheith ionspioráideach.

Éire Ildánach an tionscnamh de chuid an Rialtais a eascraíonn le hoidhreacht ó Éire 2016. Beidh leibhéal feabhsaithe comhordaithe, fócais agus ceannaireachta i gceist le Éire Ildánach i ndáil le polasaithe agus tionscnaimh atá ann cheana ar fud an rialtais náisiúnta agus áitiúil, gníomhaireachtaí Stáit, san earnáil cultúir agus ealaíon, in eagraíochtaí Gaeltachta agus Gaeilge agus cuirfidh an clár naisc ar fáil chuig na hearnálacha gnó príobháidigh agus NGO.

"I don’t like school, but I like the swimming pool..." 🎵

Created by young people from across County Wicklow, this Cruinniú piece is a celebration of creativity, community and self-expression. From young people navigating grief, social anxiety and physical disabilities, to neurodivergent creatives and Ukrainian children who collaborated with the Kabin Crew on the soundtrack, every lyric, idea and artistic choice came directly from them.

Their message is simple but powerful: "With creativity, better days ahead of me."

Join us on June 6th for Cruinniú na nÓg 2026, Ireland's national day of free creativity for children and young people.
