We have recently gained a few new followers and supporters on the page ๐Ÿ‘‹

First off, hello, and you are very welcome.

We are the local Civil Defence unit in Dun Laoghaire, based at the Fire Station on Kill Avenue, made up of ordinary people from across South County Dublin, with members from Templeogue, Clonskeagh, Dun Laoghaire, Shankill and everywhere in between, who give their time to support events, assist during emergencies, provide medical cover, search support, welfare assistance, flood response and much more.

Training, teamwork and community spirit are at the heart of what we do, and weโ€™re proud to serve both our local community, the greater Dublin area and, when called upon, nationally.

We use this page to share some of our training, duties, events and the occasional behind-the-scenes look at unit life.

If you have any questions about what we do, volunteering, training or Civil Defence in general, please feel free to send us a message โ€” weโ€™re always happy to help.

Thanks again for the support, and welcome aboard ๐Ÿš‘๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ’™
