Dunboyne Cardiac First Responders A developing local volunteer group set up to assist the National Ambulance Service with cardiac arrest calls in the Dunboyne area.

We are a group of volunteers who have come together to form a Cardiac First Responder group in the Dunboyne area. We will be making ourselves available to be called upon by the National Ambulance Service in the event of a person suffering a cardiac arrest in our local community. Our aim is to provide lifesaving skills until advance life support arrives to the patient. If you would like more infor

If you've ever looked at our posts and thought I'd like to volunteer in our community.
I have a few hours free a week.
I want to help my neighbours in the community.
I want to be able to help somebody in my family if they have a heart attack.

If you can answer, yes to these please come along to our open information night, Monday 3rd November @ 8 pm. It's taking place in Nationwide Safety Training. (A86FH76)

Nationwide Safety Training one of the local businesses in the industrial estate is kindly letting us use their facility for this event. Willie and his team have always been a great supporter to the group over the years.

With the season of giving upon us we at Dunboyne First Responders are offering free CPR courses. We would like to thank you for all for the support we receive from the community and we want to give back.

It was a pleasure this morning to train the Dunboyne Men’s Shed in CPR & AED. A great group of lads who work on projects in the community all year round and it was an honour to give something back.
