Good news for growers...

The new Irish Horticulture Grower-Retail Charter brings together growers, retailers and industry stakeholders in a shared commitment to strengthening the future of Irish horticulture and ensuring consumers continue to have access to high-quality Irish-grown produce.

The Charter establishes five key principles intended to support a stronger and more sustainable horticulture sector:
β€’ Fair and consistent engagement between retailers and growers
β€’ Fair and unambiguous promotion of Irish produce
β€’ Greater focus on long-term relationships across the supply chain
β€’ Sustainable pricing approaches that reflect the realities of production
β€’ Collaboration to reduce food loss and waste

By working together across the supply chain, the sector is helping to build a more sustainable and resilient future for Irish fruit, vegetables and horticultural produce.

Supporting Irish growers. Supporting local produce.

We're delighted to launch a new campaign in Ireland promoting beef with the Bord Bia Quality Mark.

Recognising younger Irish shoppers' growing demand for healthy protein, the campaign encourages them to purchase beef with the Quality Mark and highlights that by doing so they are supporting quality assured beef farmers.

The campaign will appear for three weeks on broadcast TV players, radio, outdoor posters at retail sites, social media and online channels.
