‘DUBLIN 3 FOR NEUTRALITY' RETURNS WITH OUR SECOND 'LOVE PEACE HATE WAR' BENEFIT GIG :

Fizzy Orange, Dash Dublin & Bold Boy headline a night of music and peace at The Annesley House, North Strand.

Following the roaring success of our debut event in March, Dublin 3 For Neutrality is proud to announce the second instalment of its Love Peace Hate War benefit concert series, taking place on Friday, 29th May at the legendary northside venue Annesley House, Dublin.

The bill brings together three of the city's most exciting live acts. Hotly tipped six-piece ‘Dublin soul’ outfit Fizzy Orange headline — a band whose ‘analogue-only soundscape weaves together 60s songwriting craft, 70s studio warmth and the spirit of the 80s home recording revolution, drawing on everything from rock & roll to rocksteady’.

Joining them are explosive glam psych/garage punk outfit DASH and the highly rated prog-punk two-piece Bold Boy, making for a night that spans genres but shares a common pulse.

Dublin 3 For Neutrality's debut Love Peace Hate The war event on 27th March proved a resounding success, with full-house signs earning their keep and a crowd that matched the energy on stage from lords of lit-rock The Prongs, Dash! and local
hero Tony St Ledger.

The event coincides with the 85th anniversary of the North Strand Bombings of May 31, 1941.

Forward Ireland highly recommend this online meeting on Thursday evening. All welcome.

This will be an important discussion on the relevance of Irish Neutrality, the importance of the Triple Lock and what steps we need to take to stop the Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael government defying the will of the Irish people, who overwhelmingly support our Neutrality.

Make Neutrality an ELECTION ISSUE :

With the Dublin Central by-election happening next month it is essential to keep Irish Neutrality and the retention of the triple lock on the agenda.

We must ensure all candidates make a commitment to ensure their parties will

STAND UP FOR NEUTRALITY and keep their
HAND OFF THE TRIPLE LOCK.

Dublin 3 for Neutrality will have an information stall at this event on Thursday and we would encourage anyone attending to meet us for a chat and hopefully get more involved and active with our local campaign. Thanks to the organisers for the invite.

In recent weeks we welcomed an invite to speak at a neutrality event in East Wall chaired by Janice Boylan and were joined by Daniel Ennis on a street stall in Ballybough. Other activists attended the City Centre demo this past weekend.

The Government parties of Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael are determined to further erode Irish Neutrality and abandon the triple lock. We must all stand United to oppose this.

A big thank you to the woman who stopped off for a good chat on her way in and on the way back out dropped off a bag of sweets “to keep you going”.

Excellent meeting in East Wall last night chaired by Councillor Janice Boylan, with Mary Lou McDonald TD, Senator Frances Black Lynn Boylan MEP, and Joe Mooney representing Dublin 3 for Neutrality.

Really good contributions from everybody and engagement from the audience. The urgency of opposing the Government plans to remove the triple lock was hammered home and the need for increased activism within our communities was stressed.

We gladly accepted the invitation to participate and we are looking forward to further engagement and street level activities in Dublin 3, and of course other communities.

Get involved with your campaign.
