Roxy, surrendered through no fault of her own, has been here for far too long, and desperately needs a home offer πŸ₯ΊπŸ₯ΊπŸ₯Ί

Big, bouncy and playful, she has nice manners and loves everyone she meets. She is spotlessly clean in her kennel and used to the finer things in life as an indoor pet.

She is more selective about meeting new dogs however, although she does get used to dogs in the kennel beside her after a while.

If you would like to meet her, pop in during our opening hours, call us on 0429324140, or email [email protected].

Max is a Schnauzer X who was sadly surrendered into our care this morning. He is now seeking a new home for the rest of his life.

He is a friendly, playful chap who will need to be neutered and housetrained.

If you can offer him a secure forever home, please get in touch on 0429324140 or by emailing [email protected]

More from behind-the-scenes - this time Womble, who arrived as an extremely matted, VERY stinky stray, but was soon taken into hand by one of our wardens who is an experienced groomer 😍.

On closer examination, the poor little guy (who could have won ALL the prizes for being the sweetest little dude EVER) needed more than a pink happy-hoodie and a blow-out, as his coat was matted down to the skin, making him very uncomfortable 😒😒😒.

Washed and clipped, he felt a whole lot better in himself, looking (and smelling!) like the little Superstar he was the entire time he was with us 🀩🀩🀩

Grooming is more than a cosmetic issue for many dogs - it can quickly become a serious welfare problem if the appropriate care and attention are not given.

Please check your dog's skin and coat regularly for debris, tangling and matting. Whilst some dogs will need regular/professional grooms, most problems can easily be managed from home so long as the owner pays attention and nips any potential problems in the bud.

No owner has come forward to reclaim this happy chappie, so he is now in search of a new home 😒😒😒

He has been nothing but a pleasure since he arrived - playful, affectionate and passes no remark on any of the other dogs he has met here. However.... being a bull breed, and being black will sadly make finding him a home or rescue space very, very challenging ☹️☹️☹️

If you would like to meet him, get in touch on 0429324140 or by email to [email protected].

If any of Ireland's hard-working Animal Welfare Charities can help him move on to a bright new future, we would be delighted to hear from you πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ₯³PUPDATE!πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ₯³

Little "DPDV" has left the building! Off to a new life, a new name (Spudz!), and a very bright future with a lovely local lady who was as charmed by his odd appearance and hilarious antics as we have been over the past few weeks 😍😍😍

This little fella arrived as a stray at the start of the month, and no owner has come forward to reclaim him.

He is tiny but mighty, and zooms around like a 4-legged baked potato avoiding the dinner plate 🀣🀣🀣

We have no knowledge of his past, but he is very friendly with everyone he meets, and doesn't seem too interested in anything other than zooming, sniffing, and being with people.

In typical Frenchie style, he can be very vocal when he wants something, and what he wants most is human company.

If you think he would be a good match for you and your lifestyle, get in touch on 0429324140 or by email to [email protected]
