Louth County Childcare Committee To develop comprehensive childcare supports, infrastructure and services where the holistic well being of children and families are fundamental.

Louth County Childcare Committee (LCCC) was initiated in 2001, after an intensive development period the Committee became incorporated in 2002. 33 County and City Committees were established nationally by the Department of Justice Equality and Law Reform under the Equal Opportunities Childcare Programme (EOCP) as part of the National Development Plan. The Childcare Committees were established as one key element of the Government's co-ordinated strategy to develop quality childcare in Ireland.
