🚨 Plan Ahead. Stay Alert. Stay Safe. 🚨

In partnership with Louth County Fire Service , An Garda Síochána Louth, and Louth Civil Defence, we’re asking everyone to put safety first this June Bank Holiday weekend as part of the Amber Thursday Safety Campaign.

✅ On the roads: Slow down, wear your seatbelt, put the phone away, and never drive under the influence.
🔥 At home/outdoors: Use BBQs safely, never use petrol to light fires, and don’t leave flames unattended.
🌊 Near water: Swim within your depth, avoid inflatables on open water, and never swim alone.

Taking a few simple precautions can prevent accidents and save lives. Let’s all enjoy a safe and happy Bank Holiday weekend and summer.

A busy weekend in the sunshine for our volunteers. Rescue cover for the Cross Cooley Challenge where we were assisted by Monaghan Civil Defence. Volunteers also provided medical cover for the Louth community games. A special shout out to those volunteers who were attending their 1st duty. Well done.
