🌊 Do you swim, dip or enjoy the water at your local beach, river or lake? We want to hear from you!

Each year, we identify official bathing areas so they can be monitored for safety, water quality, and usage and your input is vital in shaping these decisions. Tell us if existing sites should stay designated and suggest new locations.

When sharing your views, consider:
• How the area is used and how many people swim there
• What facilities are available and how accessible is the location
• Any safety concerns

From gutters to slates, we made Rathcor N.S. look great!
Thanks to all for taking part in our An Taisce - National Spring Clean while also tackling some repairs and maintenance of the school.
Plenty of hands make light work....we had busy parents squeezing in as much time as possible to help out, some parents having to leave and come back so they could fit in swimming lessons, haircuts, family events & all that goes part in parcel with being a parent.
Thanks to Fionnghuala Watters for spearheading this event!!

Following the success on the Peninsula of this we are proud to be part of the Louth Community Safety Partnership bringing this across the county FREE. The 1st date for your diary is attached.

Over the summer, farm equipment thefts across Ireland spike — quads, trailers, power tools, and machinery are all at risk when farmers are often long hours working the land.

45% of Irish farmers have already been victims of theft. Don't become a statistic.

This free Property Marking permanently marks your Eircode onto every piece of equipment. It takes less than 1 minute. It lasts forever. And it's backed by An Garda Síochána.

Its not just for farmers but so bring your power tools, gardening items, laptops & tablets, bicycles and even golf clubs. You name it we can protect it FREE.
