Laois County Council Fire and Rescue Service are asking you to test your smoke alarms today and encourage your family and friends to do the same by forwarding this message to five or more people.

Please read a fire safety in the home leaflet and follow all recommendations included within.

JOIN US TODAY AT 2PM, IN DURROW FIRE STATION.
Durrow Fire Station are looking to recruit a Retained Firefighter, and will hold an open day at the local station on Saturday April 30th, at 2pm, when all interested candidates can meet with the current crew and find out more about the role and the application process.
We will demonstrate equipment such as Breathing Apparatus, RTC Cutting and Spreading Tools, Ladders, Hoses etc.
We will also offer guidance on the application process and answer any questions you may have.
