🎃As part of Operation Tombola, our Waste Enforcement Team, Fire Service, Municipal District Offices are working alongside An Garda Síochána and the National Ambulance Service to help keep our communities safe this Halloween.

🔥 Keep Waste out of Bonfires
Burning waste is illegal and can release harmful pollutants into the air, affecting both our health and the environment. Please do not burn or collect waste for Halloween bonfires. Materials such as pallets, tyres, old furniture and other household waste should be disposed of responsibly.

🚒Halloween is one of the busiest times of the year for emergency services. Illegal bonfires pose serious fire safety hazards and can lead to injuries, damage to property and added pressure on emergency responders.

🎆 Say no to Illegal Fireworks
Illegal fireworks may not meet safety standards and can cause serious injuries, particularly to children. Please do not buy, use or supply illegal fireworks.

🎃In the lead up to Halloween, our Waste Enforcement Team and Fire Service, together with An Garda Síochána, will be monitoring and identifying stockpiles of bonfire material. We will endeavour to remove this waste where possible.

👏💛💙 Clare County Council congratulates the Clare communities who represented the county in Saturday night’s annual IPB Pride of Place Awards which celebrates their voluntary efforts in making their communities a better place.

🔵 Corofin Town Team were runners-up in their Population 300 - 1000 Category, while Liscannor Healthy Ages/Munitir na Mara Group were runners up in the Age Friendly Category

🔵 County Clare was also represented in the prestigious event at the Convention Centre in Dublin by Ennis Choral Society ‘Spring Into Song’ who were shortlisted in the Creative Communities Category

👫Clare County Council nominated the three local community groups shortlisted for the awards.

🚗Vehicles remaining in the car park after the 1pm closure time this Saturday cannot be removed until the park reopens.

🏠💝 Bellevue House, in Ennis, which has served generations of Clare people as the county surgeon's residence, Clare's first library, and now the headquarters of Clare Tourism Development DAC, has been officially opened following the completion of an extensive refurbishment.

The restoration project, which was was funded by Clare County Council, honours Bellevue's rich heritage while creating a modern workspace for the future.

👏Sincere thanks to everyone involved, whose dedication and expertise brought this project at the Clare County Council-managed Bellevue House to life.

🎀A special highlight was the unveiling of the 'Chapters of Bellevue' interpretation wall in the boardroom and cutting the ribbon on the historic red door, celebrating the remarkable history of this iconic building in the town of Ennis.

Wishing Clare Tourism Development DAC team every success in this exciting new chapter.
