Vision Ireland supports children and adults who are blind or vision impaired across Ireland. Their charity shops help raise vital funds that support services, training and practical assistance for people living with sight loss, making a real difference in communities across the country.

They are currently looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to join their Ennis charity shop team. If you enjoy meeting people, working as part of a team and contributing to a good cause, this could be a rewarding way to support your local community.

Yesterday, Clare Volunteer Centre hosted a Coffee Morning in De Valera Public Library, Ennis as part of our Tell a Friend campaign.

The event brought together volunteers, community members and new faces from across Clare — with many people arriving alongside a friend, neighbour or colleague.

Tell a Friend was built around one simple idea: volunteering grows through connection. Sometimes all it takes is one conversation or one invitation for someone to take their first step into community involvement.

A special thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday, including the team from Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind — and Marina, who was a very popular guest throughout the morning 🐾

Thank you to everyone who helped make the campaign such a positive celebration of volunteering, community and connection across Clare.
