Clonroche National School is situated on the main Enniscorthy to New Ross road(N30). room and resource rooms. The school building is bright, spacious and airy. The large grounds boast a walking track, pitch and a number of tarmac areas, with a stunning view of the Blackstairs Mts. We are fortunate that Clonroche Community pre-school is located on our

school campus which offers easy transition for students from pre-school to junior infants. We strive to provide a warm, secure, safe atmosphere where the learning and holistic needs of the pupils and staff are addressed and fostered. We endeavour to enhance the self-esteem of everyone in the school community and encourage respect for individuality and differences.

Epic scenes on the field today as referee Mr. Murphy oversaw two great finals. Two silver trophies to play for - The Margaret Rochford Stationary Trophy and the Ms. Flood Perpetual Cup. Ms Flood made an appearance on the day to present the winning captain with the prestigious cup.

Well done to all the children involved in the finals today and a big thanks to Mr. Furlong and Mr. Murphy for running the in school lunch time hurling league so well!

A huge thank you to Niamh and Vinny Murphy for welcoming Junior and Senior Infants to their strawberry farm this morning. The boys and girls learned all about how strawberries grow and we even got to pick some to try. Our visit finished off with potting our own strawberry plants to bring home!
