We were delighted to welcome a pilgrimage group of 50 people from Dublin, led by Fr Joe Poole.
Our visitors included parishioners from St. Pius X and St. Jude’s parishes in Templeogue, and from Holy Spirit parish Greenhills, and Holy Spirit parish Kimmage Manor.
The group included a visit to the Father Flanagan Visitor Centre as part of their day trip to Knock Shrine.
It was a pleasure to host such a wonderful group of people, who really enjoyed their visit to Ballymoe.

On 13th July, 1886, Edward Flanagan was born in Leabeg, near Ballymoe, in Co Roscommon.
From humble beginnings in Leabeg, he went on to live a life of holiness. He became a priest, and founded Boys Town in Nebraska, USA.
