A better life starts with one moment of support, one open door, one person choosing to help. That person could be you.
Today in Galway, too many families and individuals are impacted by the homelessness crisis, domestic abuse continues to devastate lives, and older people still face loneliness and isolation.

Your support helps a family, woman, child, or older person in our community take steps toward a better life.

💟 €25 can provide essential supplies in a crisis.
💟 €60 can help a family move into their own home.
💟 €120 can support home visits for an older person who is isolated.

Donate today and help us be there when it matters most.

⛳ A huge thank you to everyone who took part in the 2026 COPE Galway Charity Golf Event at Galway Golf Club last Friday!
We were delighted to welcome 132 golfers to the stunning Salthill course for another fantastic day of golf, fundraising, and community spirit. Thanks to your incredible support, the event raised an amazing €17,391 in support of our services across Galway.
We would like to sincerely thank all players, sponsors, supporters, and the team at Galway Golf Club for helping to make the day such a success.

A special thank you also to our prize sponsors: David Mortimer Golf Pro, GolfStyle Galway, and Hanley.ie Menswear, as well as our lead tee sponsor TrojanIT.
We are especially grateful to the organising committee and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make the event possible.

We honoured our extraordinary at our annual COPE Galway Volunteer Recognition Lunch on Tuesday, held in the Radisson RED Galway.

As we celebrate 60 years, it’s fitting to recognise that COPE Galway was built by volunteers and continues to be sustained by them. We simply could not do what we do without our volunteers' support. We are so grateful for their time, passion and commitment which has an incredible impact on the lives of the people who use our , and services.

A big thank you to all the staff at Radisson RED Galway who were so accommodating, to our photographers Neil Cronin and Robert Canavan for capturing the day and, of course, to EACH AND EVERY one of our wonderful volunteers. Happy !🩵 Volunteer Ireland Volunteer Galway

“I’ve met amazing people… it’s like a little family.”

That’s how Amy describes volunteering with COPE Galway

This week, we honoured more than 250 who give their time, energy and kindness across our services every single day. Whether it’s supporting someone experiencing homelessness, delivering meals, helping at the shops or simply being there for a chat – these moments matter.

doesn’t just connect our communities; it can change lives.
