🌊 Don't miss the Corrib Beo programme at Headfest this weekend! 🌊

One of the highlights of this year's festival is our partnership with Corrib Beo, celebrating the incredible natural, cultural and historical importance of Lough Corrib.

The response has been absolutely phenomenal, with the guided boat trips selling out almost immediately đŸš€đŸ’™

If you missed out on a boat ticket, don't lose hope! We may be able to accommodate a limited number of walk-ins on the day, subject to availability and weather conditions.

There is also a fantastic programme of FREE talks, discussions, exhibitions, workshops and guided experiences running throughout the weekend, covering everything from biodiversity and heritage to sustainable farming, local history and the future of our lake.

đŸš¶ Walk-ins are welcome for many of the talks and events, so come along, get involved and learn more about one of the greatest treasures on our doorstep.

đŸŽŸïž All events are FREE

The Ballinasloe Men's Shed were recipients of a SICAP grant recently. The grant will assist in the building up of the sheds much needed resources. It was great to pop down this morning to visit the lads to a very welcoming environment, see all the work been carried out there and most importantly seeing everyone sitting around the table having a cuppa and the chats. It has been quoted and is very true, that the best tool in the shed is the kettle. Well done to Billy and all the team in the shed driving it forward. The shed also have a pop up shop set up to help raise funds for the running and continued upgrading of the shed, so make sure to call in and see all the bargains you can pick up whilst supporting the lads. We wish you all continued success and look forward to supporting the Ballinasloe Men's Shed in the future.
