Sligo Folk Park Based in Riverstown on the Wild Atlantic Way, Sligo Folk Park introduces visitors to Irish history, heritage and rural life.

With loads of space, this top tourist destination is a great family day out, and wet weather activity. Sligo Folk Park is located in the beautiful village of Riverstown, County Sligo. This community based attraction provides a true experience of rural life and Irish heritage at the turn of the 19th Century. The Folk Park is set in the grounds of the authentically restored Millview House, which was

originally built in the 1850s by George Reid, a farmer, shoemaker and church sexton. Regardless of the weather, you can stroll around the park, visiting the wonderful museums and exhibition halls, housing one of Ireland’s finest collections of rural history and agricultural artefacts. Open all year round and catering to all ages and group sizes, Sligo Folk Park has something for everyone.
