Cork County Council has launched a survey inviting the Kanturk community to contribute their views to the development of a regeneration plan for the town.

The findings of this survey will play a guiding role in the development of the Town Centre First plan for Kanturk. I encourage all members of the community in Kanturk and surrounds to have their say. All ideas and suggestions are welcome.

Alternatively, printed copies of the survey are available at Kanturk library. The survey takes only a few minutes to complete and will be open until Wednesday the 31st of July.

A delegation from Kanturk Courthouse Restoration Committee visited the Dáil on Wednesday, where they spoke to the Minister for Heritage, Malcolm Noonan TD, about getting the local courthouse handed over to a state body which would refurbish the building.
