In view of recent tragic events which again see so many horrible comments on pages we just want to post this

Every victim deserves dignity, compassion, and remembrance regardless of race, nationality, or background.

We should be able to question media coverage without turning tragedy into division. When grief becomes “us versus them,” everybody loses.

Two lives were lost. Two families are grieving. Let’s not allow anger, politics, or media narratives to strip away our shared humanity.

And please let out lawmakers bring about justice in both cases without social media bias ending up as part of anyone's defence.

These parties claim to champion a woman's voice but they refuse to listen to the voices of women who regret their abortion.

Thanks to Republic of Ireland Ladies Snooker Association for the invitation to the filming of their exhibition night in Sharkx Newbridge

It was wonderful hear about the work they've done to build women's participation in cue sports. They work with schools in developing and promoting cue sports among girls.

Representation is incredibly important and to see a group of girls/women of all different ages is a testament to the mentoring and work they've been doing.

The Government is so disconnected from reality they found coverage of the fuel protests 'deeply disturbing'.

The Government are shocked by the fuel protests because they're totally out of touch with the financial pressure people are under.

Instead of real solutions, their approach to climate policy is to tax working people more and more. We're told not to burn turf while fuel costs keep rising and taxes pile on. Households are at breaking point.

On International Women’s Day I want to recognise endometriosis. It’s a debilitating condition affecting an estimated 155,000 women in Ireland. Awareness campaigns are welcome, but we need faster action on practical supports.

Women are still being forced to travel abroad for treatment. The Treatment Abroad Scheme should be extended to include specialist hospitals in Romania, Greece and Italy so women can access care.

We should also learn from international best practice, including the Portuguese model that allows paid leave for women with endometriosis, alongside better workplace supports and facilities.

Patricians in Newbridge have found out they'll have 3 SNA posts cut. This will leave 1 SNA per 232 students. This is so worrying for families and for SNAs.

Packed room this evening at the emergency Kildare West Wicklow IFA meeting on Bord Bia chairman Larry Murrins.

The level of anger from the farmers in the room was palpable.

How can Larry Murrin continue as the chair of Bord Bia when farmers across the country have no confidence in him? There is a clear conflict of interest. He is importing Brazilian Beef while chairing an organisation that provides quality assurance for Irish produce.

He has to go before farmers lose complete trust in Bord Bia.

People should continue contacting the Minister for Agriculture to ask for Larry Murrin to be removed from the board - [email protected]
