A huge well done to all of our 1st Years, 2nd Years and 5th Years who were celebrated at our JCSP and “Best You Can Be” Awards Day 👏

This is always such a lovely way to finish off the school year before the summer holidays, as we take the time to recognise and celebrate the many achievements of our students — big and small. From living out our school ethos, to creativity, sports, participation and positive contribution to school life, we are so proud of everything our students have accomplished throughout the year.

Congratulations to all of our award recipients and to every student who gave their best this year ⭐

As our 3rd Year students celebrate the completion of their JCSP journey, we are proud to mark the end of three memorable years in KCVS before they begin their State Exams next week. The celebration was a wonderful opportunity to recognise and applaud the many achievements of this outstanding group of students. 👏🏼✨

Throughout their time in KCVS, they have shown dedication, resilience and school spirit in so many ways — through academics, creativity, sports, participation and their commitment to the ethos of our school community. Each student has contributed something special to school life.

We wish all of our 3rd Years the very best of luck as they begin their exams next week. We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved and look forward to seeing all they will accomplish in the future! 💪🏼💙

We are delighted to be recieve the Amber Flag from Pieta House in recognition of our commitment to promoting positive mental health and wellbeing.
With the support of our staff, our inspiring Wellbeing Warriors and the whole school community, KCVS continues to create a caring, inclusive school environment through initiatives like Chat & Connect, Bí Cineálta assemblies, and Chat and Brew: Coffee Morning.
This journey has strengthened connection, kindness, and support across our school community.

Well done to all of our students who participated in the end of year badminton singles tournament after school today. Congratulations to Hugo and Gaël who were our winner and runner-up after an epic encounter on centre court. A very entertaining final that went down to the wire finishing 21-18. A great way to end the badminton season at KCVS. We look forward to doing it all over again next year 🙌👏🏸

Engineering in Kilkenny City Vocational School.

All projects are coming to an end this year for our Engineering students. A massive well done to all students for their efforts and hard work throughout the year. The standard of the projects have been excellent.

Junior Certificate students have completed their model Robocoaster 👌
Our international students have completed their Rose project 🌹
1st year's have been flying it and completed their helicopter and clock projects just in time 🚁⏰️
