Discover Falconry a living History Hawkeye School of Falconry was established to Promote and Conserve the Art of falconry. We are a small family run school not a bird of prey center or a zoo. All our birds are working birds and get to fly free almost every day. We fund the everyday running of the school by holding Falconry courses, Falconry Experiences, Hawkwalks, Corporate entertainment, and so m

While home for a visit from New York we had the opportunity to visit John and Caroline at their school.
I cannot impress enough on their knowledge and passion of falconry, from past history to the current woes the profession endures.

I would strongly recommend taking the time to book and with your family or friends to experience both the grace and power of these beautiful animals.

While out walking it’s quite apparent to see the deep knowledge John has for each bird, their personality, moods and habits to the extent that I believe he knows what they are thinking..

You can tell it’s a great experience when the time flys by and you have two teenagers ask if we can go back again!! We will be planning a return when home again..
