EcoFriends.Cork KIds Summer Camp - outdoor gardening and creative activities Arts and crafts will use outdoor themes and include mosaic, pottery, painting and collage.

Learning about gardening, nature and ecology, dance and drama, arts and crafts through fun experiences. Preparing the ground for sowing, planting seedlings and weeding, composting, learning about the animals on the farm in the beautiful setting of the Nano Nagle Centre on the banks of the Blackwater. The day will be punctuated by storytelling, drama and creative dancing. At the end of the week the

children will have learned more about where food comes from, had heeps of fun, learned about making craft items from recycled material and will take home a pot to continue growing at home.

We had our first Ecofriends summer camp yesterday and enjoyed 3 hours of dancing, sowing seeds, transplanting plants, looking at the animals and plants on the farm and making beautiful collages. We had 10 children in attendence and I think we all had a super time.
