Thank you to those who couldn't attend and sent kind messages of good luck and to those who think they had no input at all, the fact that you turned up on the day for our ancestor and family was more than enough and very much appreciated so thank you all ❤☘

As we approach the anniversary of Michael Swifts death 12 August 2022. We the family here in Fountain hill are researching Michael's life. A wonderful man who was devoted and loyal to Ireland and joined the national Army this year as he believed it was the right direction to follow. He gained the position of 1st lieutenant of the national Army.. Unfortunately his life was cut short and he died in action on 12 Aug 1922. An ambush at Cloonacastle.
