Valentia Island First Responders and Portmagee Community First Responders would like to acknowledge and sincerely thank Cnuicín Rowing Club & The Watch House for their fund raising events held to help finance the addition of a Solar Powered AED & Solar Powered Cabinet to cover the Portmagee side of Valentia Island in the event of a medical emergency. We thank the Casey Family for allowing us to place this unit at their carpark and we also wish to extend our sincere gratitude to the following contributors who gave so generously:

We also would like to thank Aidan Ford at Valentia Slate who are also installing an AED to cover emergencies at that side of the Island. An AED can save a life and the more units we have mean it's easier to access one in the event of an emergency.

Hi everyone, We the committee of Cracow Park & Playground are calling on local families that use the park to be more involved with the maintenance and up keep of this beautiful area. We the committee are volunteers and we have our own families and day jobs too and do the best we can. We need more people to be involved and help out if not the park and playground will get run down. Anyone that is interested in becoming a committee member or wants to help maintain the park. Please private message this page. We would love to hear from ye, this playground and park is so very special to all of us young and old, we want to keep it going. We all have worked so hard to get the park to where it is.
