O'Rourke's Table

Now that the dust has settled on another fantastic event on O’Rourke’s Table, the O’Rourke’s Table Development Committee would like to say a few words of thanks.

Firstly, to our Chairperson, Kevin Comiskey who played a central role in organising our event in conjunction with Leitrim County Council & The Leitrim Gathering. He was very ably assisted by the vice chairperson Kevin McDermott who also acted as MC on the day of the event.

To all our sponsors, Irish Country Meats, McPartland Oil, Osta Restaurant, Killasnett Co Op, Harvey Meats, Martina Devaney, GALA Dromahair and Centra Dromahair.

To all those who helped out from traffic on the bottom to catering on the top, thank you.

Thank you most especially to the performers, Michelle Gallagher and Glenfarne CGE, Vivian O’Loughlin, The Reel Girls , George McGoldrick, Lorraine Sweeney and group of talented children from Dromahair, individual musicians from across North Leitrim and RosKilmanor Wren Boys.

Thank you to Trevor Comiskey making the custom built BBQ’s to make sure we didn’t go hungry on the top.

Thank you to Lisa Casey and the Under 14 Dromahair girls football team and Margaret O’Connor for the face painting. To Irene Kavanagh for capturing the magic of the day through photographs.

Thank you to everyone who helped to set up and clear up. Your work doesn’t go unnoticed.

All roads lead to O’Rourkes Table this Sunday for The Leitrim Gathering! 💚💛 We have a great line up of entertainment at the top of O’Rourkes Table kicking off at 2pm including Vivian Loughlin, The Roskilmanor Wren Boys, Kevin Mc Dermott, The Reel Girls , Lorraine Sweeney Kelly Trad Music, Pipers, Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann (Glenfarne), George Mc Goldrick (Rose of Innisfree) and Children’s Dance Entertainment with Denise! We also have face painting in the carpark for children from 1pm! There’s something for everyone! See you there💃🏻🕺🏻🎉
