📣I am delighted to have been appointed by An Tánaiste as spokesperson for Infrastructure and Delivery.

Infrastructure is the biggest challenge facing our country currently, at a time of economic success we need to ensure we deliver infrastructure to sustain that success but also be the foundation of the economy for future generations.

I am committed to ensuring red tape and bureaucracy are slashed, unnecessary judicial reviews are reduced, and planning is streamlined.

I am focused on ensuring we see the delivery of urgently needed large scale infrastructure projects including

Application in with KCC for full road closure for more works up alongside Confey GAA/Confey Cemetary. Given the current traffic chaos this will further add to an already very worrying and dangerous situation for road users, cyclists and pedestrians.

Applications are now invited for Kildare County Council ’s Commercial Rates Incentive Waiver Scheme for 2026



Kildare County Council has opened applications for their Commercial Rates Incentive Waiver Scheme for 2026. The scheme, which aims to encourage reoccupation of vacant commercial premises in Kildare, offers a three-year partial waiver to eligible entrepreneurs/businesses who occupy a property that has been vacant for a period of at least two years.



An attractive, vibrant commercial area contributes positively to a location ’s retail and economic growth, by boosting footfall and encouraging a longer stay by shoppers and visitors. This scheme, which will complement the highly successful Shop Front Grants Scheme already available through Kildare County Council, aims to promote business creation, enhance the prosperity of our commercial spaces and improve the economic welfare of Kildare ’s towns and villages.

Pothole on Captain's Hill beginning to unravel again due to rain, and poor repair, please be careful driving up the hill. It has been reported and requested that a proper repair is done by Uisce Eireann, not this temporary approach that has been taken previously 👍
