Took the government long enough. Our brothers and sisters have been trapped in Kabul with savages beating at the gates for weeks. While the people in government have finally decided that their countrymen are worth saving they’ve been happy to bring Afghanistan nationals here first, ahead of their own. They took less time to bring an Isis terrorist home then they did our countrymen. This is the caliber of our leadership.

It’s been clear for years that the Defence Forces need more funding and a better allocation of resources. The problems with the navy have only gotten worse over time and on multiple occasions over the past few years basic patrol duties were cancelled due to a shortage of staff. The amount of illegal fishing is only going to increase over the next few years as the European nations destroy their own fishing stock and turn their sights towards ours. Military spending is shockingly low and the poor state of equipment and low pay has led to a considerable drop in numbers over time. The people are there. Whenever there’s a recruitment drive you see more then enough people willing and able to join but unable to as the fundings not there to accommodate or pay them. This government isn’t going to fix this. This government is an insult to the Irish nation. Instead of trying to fix the problem they went crawling to the EU, begging for them to protect us on hands and knees. Such men aren’t fit to run a nation, let alone Ireland.

What a match what a match. That’s one for the history books right there. After a morning of praying to the good baby Jay that I’ll never drink again if he helps me out I feel up to actually posting. I tell ye I haven’t seen such scenes in the city since we won back in 2018. This is the greatest Limerick team to be sure, no question. The results speak for themselves. My condolences to the people of Cork. You’ll be waiting a while longer to get back in the running but I’ve great hope for ye. Ah lad I tell you what a match. All the glory to the hero’s.

This day 99 years ago Michael Collins was shot dead in his home County of Cork. Collins played a crucial role in the intelligence war during the War of Independence. Despite his flaws as a man and the flaws of the Free State he was still an Irish nationalist through and through. He fought for this country his entire life and deserves to be remembered as a true patriot. RIP

Brothers and Sisters, boys and girls I have returned. Now I know I haven’t posted in about three months and you have all missed me terribly I’m sure, but I have returned. And what an event to return to. I of course am not particularly surprised that the moment a country collapses the Irish government goes grovelling to the international community to show how kind and welcoming we are while of course actual citizens are still trapped abroad but sure nothing changes I suppose. This only follows the classic trend that the Irish government have shown where they will completely ignore the Irish people dying on our streets while others flood in. It also follows the government’s trend of bringing in foreigners only to abandon them in Direct Provision centres for years at a time. Now of course Mr “Definitely didn’t take a photo with known pe*****le advocate” Roderic O’Gorman has told us that these people won’t in fact go into Direct Provision and that they are the best of the best. I can’t help but wonder if we shouldn’t place priority on helping those who are homeless and refugee already instead of bringing in yet more people.
Just my thoughts on this article anyway. I probably won’t make a post on the actual situation in Afghanistan. Just another example of a failed American invasion, with predictably bloody results.

Pathetic. This is what the government calls “decisive action”. This won’t do a thing to fix the housing crisis. It won’t even take affect for years as it doesn’t apply to planning permissions that are already registered. It doesn’t even apply to apartments which are the primary housing units targeted by vulture funds. And what is our government doing while the HSE is hacked and the housing market falls apart? They’re off talking about the middle east. Bastards

The fact that the situation was allowed to spiral and become this bad in the first place is a telling sign of the governments incompotence when it comes to housing and taking care of their own.
