Northside Youth Space

Northside Youth Space Northside Youth Space is home to the delivery of youth work in the northside of Limerick.

LYS's Northside Youth Space is home to our Steps Youth Cafe, Ballynanty Garda Youth Diversion Project, Youth & Family Support Project, Ballynanty Youth Club & other youth work projects & programmes. Our Youth Space boasts a mini theatre, activity rooms, kitchen and open area and is home to the delivery of youth work programmes for young people across the community.

Boys Gone Fishing 🎣

Young people with our youth groups enjoyed a day fishing at Bleach Lough, Limerick.

Under the tutelage of the instructors, the boys learned all about fishing methods from using suitable bait, casting and marine safety.

The boys had a great time and even caught three fish!

The fishing trip was part of the spring programme with young people from the Limerick Youth Service Drugs Education & Prevention Support Project and the Ballynanty hub of the Limerick Youth Service: Youth Diversion Project*
