A hidden gem in rural County Waterford, Ireland; Lismore Castle Gardens have a long and interesting history. Comprised of two distinct gardens. The Upper Garden still possesses the outer walls and terraces of the original garden created in about 1605, while the Lower Garden is a more informal design mostly laid out in the 19th century under the guidance of the 6th Duke of Devonshire and Joseph Pax

ton. The gardens are now under the care of Lord and Lady Burlington, who are keen to ensure they remain at the forefront of horticultural excellence. The gardens are maintained by a team of five full-time gardeners, included among them some very experienced and knowledgeable plantsmen. The team can be found working around the garden during your visit and are surprisingly interactive!

Our weekly veg boxes, with fresh produce from the Gardens at Lismore Castle, are now available to order. Orders must be placed by 1pm on Wednesday each week, for collection of boxes on Friday afternoon. Please be aware that any orders after the 1pm deadline cannot be taken and box numbers are limited and will be offered on a first come first served basis. Please bring your own bag or box for collection

Successful orders will be confirmed by email.
Our deluxe veg box includes extra vegetables and a large bottle of our fresh apple juice.
