4 days to go!!!
What a whirlwind journey it has been 🙂
I'm beyond grateful to have been afforded this opportunity.
I learned so much, had a great mentor🙂 Met so many lovely people, made great friends, walked more steps than I ever knew was possible 🤣🤣 not forgetting all the lovely dogs I've met along the way too 🐕🐕
When I first set out, I outlined my priorities. Like many running these are issues that have always been close to my heart.
ACCESSIBLE EDUCATION FOR ALL: I was delighted to have designed and delivered a voters education through the medium of ISL, Lámh, PECs and spoken word. It was an absolute pleasure and joy to teach some of our most unrepresented groups how to cast their vote.
SUPPORT FOR CARERS IN THE HOME CARING LOVED ONES WITH DEMENTIA; Together with the greatest work crew and students you could ask for, we hosted tea day in aid of the Alzheimers Society of Ireland. All money raised stays in Lucan to continue the amazing work the Society does in its Lucan carers Social Club.
Supporting local women's groups- well because that celing needs it's glass smashed!!
I don't do this "just at election time", I've always done it. All of my working life I've advocated for societies most unrepresented. I often imagine what I could do if elected 😀
SINN FÉIN is the party of equality and inclusion. Voting number 1 for me on Friday is a vote for a more inclusive Lucan.
