We are currently looking for a lovely host family for a 15-year-old Spanish girl visiting Ireland as part of our Summer Exchange Program ✨

We would especially love to find a family with a girl of a similar age, so she can fully enjoy the experience, build friendships, and practice her English naturally through everyday family life.

Our students become part of the family during their stay — sharing meals, outings, conversations, laughter, and creating memories that last long after the summer ends 🌍💛

Hosting is such a rewarding experience, not only for the visiting student, but for the whole family too — especially teenagers who often form amazing bonds and friendships along the way 👭✨

🏡✨ What Is Our Homestay Program All About? ✨🏡

One question we’re often asked is “What does a typical day look like for our visiting students?” — so we wanted to share a little more about how our homestay program works 😊

Our Spanish students don’t attend school during their stay. Instead, they are placed in a homestay experience, meaning they fit into everyday family life and follow the normal family routine.

We encourage host families to involve students in all aspects of family life — because this is where the real learning happens 💬💛
Something as simple as sitting around the table chatting at mealtimes is one of the best ways for students to practice their English naturally — and that’s exactly why they’re here.

To keep our students active, engaged, and enjoying their time in Ireland, we ask host families to include:
✔️ Two half-day activities during the stay (for example: swimming, a walk / picnic in the park, local outings)
✔️ One full-day activity eg a cultural trip, or a beach visit finished with an ice-cream 🍦, or cinema and 🍕

These shared experiences help students build confidence, improve their English, and create memories they’ll carry home with them forever ✨

⭐ Host Family FAQ ⭐

📅 How long is the stay?
2 weeks — from 5th July (evening) to 19th July (morning).

👦👧 How old are the students?
Students are aged 10yrs–16 years.

🏡 What’s expected of host families?
A warm, supportive home where a parent/guardian is at home at all times. We ideally look for families with children of a similar age.

👥 How many students per family?
One exchange student per family only.

✈️ Where are pick-up & drop-off points?
Dublin Airport, Monaghan, or Cavan.

💰 Is there payment?
Yes — a generous hosting fee is paid to suitable families.

🤝 Will we have support?
Absolutely. Families have local support available at all times throughout the student’s stay.
