Lorraine O Donovan CEO and Conor O Brien, Youth Justice Worker from CDYS were delighted to attend the YWI Convention and AGM on 13th June.

The convention focused on Youth Justice Interventions in the context of Youth Work Ireland's Integrated Youth Services Model: Contemporary Challenges, Opportunities and Policy Implications.

The key note addresses from Professor Nessa Lynch, UCC, Principal Officer Youth Affairs, Dept Education and Youth and Ciara O' Connell Principal Officer Dept Justice, Home Affairs and Migration were very insightful.

Our colleagues in WSTCYS and FDYS shared their projects highlighting the added value and collaboration that takes place when justice work is undertaken in an integrated service model.
