Water Safety Week Intensive Swim & Lifesaving lessons run week of Mon June 29th to Fri July 3rd at Belmullet Tidal Pool.

Bookings for this week will be taken tomorrow (Thurs 18th) evening at The Tidal Pool from 5pm - 6pm.

Levels & Times below:

Lifesaving:
🛟Survivals 11am
🛟Rescues from 11.30am
🛟Safetys & challenge from 1.30pm
Children in Safety 4 & Rescues - Exam with external examiner will be Saturday 4th July - (time to be confirmed)

SWIMS:
🏊🏼Small Pool - 4pm, 4.30pm, 5pm, 5.30pm

🏊🏼Big Pool beginners 1
4.15pm & 5.25pm

🏊🏼Big Pool beginner 2 & shallow improver
4.50pm & 6pm

Deep End - Improvers for children confident in deep end (widths only)
4.15pm & 5.25pm

Deep End - building confidence for nervous swimmers (widths only)
4.50pm & 6pm

PLEASE NOTE:
No bookings will be taken before 5pm tomorrow evening.

Cost for the week
€50 for swim levels

Children’s Lessons
small pool 4 to 6.30pm

Kids big pool lanes & sea swimming
5pm - 7.30pm

What an absolutely fantastic bank holiday Monday at the Tidal Pool. We want to say a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to all the students, parents, teachers, friends, RNLI crew & volunteers that participated in the Inver NS 10km swim for Ballyglass RNLI.

Belmullet Swimming Club - Course 3️⃣ -
ADULT SWIMMING LESSONS / LANE SWIMMING & OPEN WATER DISTANCES

information for these classes / levels below:

Group 1 - 6pm
👉lane swimming group in the Tidal Pool -
Suitable for those that can swim a few lengths & want to work on technique / building fitness with the aim to gaining confidence to swim some distance in the sea/open water. (Please Note - instructors will be teaching from pool deck & NOT in the water.)

Group 2 - 6.40pm
👉beginners (learn to swim)
👉Shallow end improvers (can do a bit but not confident in deep end).
👉Deep end improvers (can swim a little in the deep end but want to build confidence to move to lengths)
Please Note: Instructors will be in the water for this group.

Group 3 - 7.20pm
👉Open Water Sea Swimming & sea survival skills
1/2 mile & Mile Swimmers - this is for swimmers confident in deep water, comfortable threading water & able to float on their backs if rest is needed.
Swimmers will have a mix of lane swimming in the pool & distance practice in the sea (tides & weather permitting).

6 week course Dates:
1 Monday June 8th
2 Monday June 15th
3 Monday June 22nd
Week Off due to kids lessons
4 Monday July 6th
5 Monday July 13th
6 Monday July 20th
