🇮🇪✨ Achill Tourism Returns to Milan! 🇮🇹🌊
This week, Achill Tourism was delighted to once again represent Achill and County Mayo at a special Tourism Ireland trade event in the beautiful city of Milan, alongside our partners at Ireland West Airport, Mayo County Council, and Tourism Ireland in Italy. 🇮🇪✈️
It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase everything that makes Achill so special from our breathtaking Atlantic coastline and Blue Flag beaches to our outdoor adventures, unique heritage, warm hospitality, and incredible local produce. 🌊🏄♀️⛰️
Meeting with Italian travel agents, tour operators, media, and tourism professionals, we were proud to help promote Achill and the West of Ireland as an unforgettable destination for Italian visitors, made even more accessible through the direct Ryanair service from Milan (Bergamo) to Ireland West Airport Knock, three times a week. ✈️🇮🇹🇮🇪
A very special mention must go to Lara Gallagher from the Tourism Section of Mayo County Council, who joined us on her very first overseas trade show trip. Despite us never having met before this week, Lara brought incredible enthusiasm, positivity, and energy to the event and was an absolute pleasure to work alongside. We’ve no doubt it will be the first of many successful tourism events for her! 🌟👏
A huge thank you to everyone involved in organising such a wonderful event and to all those we had the pleasure of meeting over the past few days. The interest and enthusiasm for Achill and the Wild Atlantic Way was truly incredible, and we look forward to welcoming many more Italian visitors to our island in the months ahead. 🌿✨
