A beautiful Victorian country home built in 1866 set on a private 15 acre estate, Coolatore is
exquisitely designed with long spacious halls, wide balconies, vaulted ceilings and numerous nooks and crannies to explore. Among its elegant rooms is a traditional country kitchen, a library, dining room, private pub & underground function rooms, two living rooms and seven spacious bedrooms. It can sleep up to 17 guests and we promise you will want to call it home forever once you stay there. A fully-restored and renovated Georgian mansion with a rich equestrian history, Bishopstown combines an old world setting with the best in modern, eco-friendly features. In 2006, the house was personally chosen by Michael Jackson (who was recording nearby) to be his Irish estate. Sadly, the King of Pop never got to see the finished house, but now you can. Bishopstown features six spacious bedrooms in the main house, all with four poster beds, two large sitting rooms, a dining room, a traditional Georgian country kitchen, outdoor patio suntraps and a fourth floor roof terrace offering outstanding views. The Georgian equestrian yard features a further two bedrooms, a bar and relaxation area, function room and stables. Both houses are favourites with families and groups of friends and are ideal for gatherings, parties, memorable country breaks, activity breaks, team-building events, retreats, weddings and other functions, workshops, residential courses and much more. Open all year for midweek, weekend and weekly breaks they offers luxury and privacy at very affordable prices. Guests of both houses have full use of the 45 swimming pool, whirlpool bath, sauna and gym which is located at the award-winning Grouse Lodge Recording Studios. Catering can be arranged and guests can live the full country life with shooting, horse-riding, fishing and golf just a stone’s throw away.
