Water Safety Ireland - Monaghan

General registration for our classes for this coming September is now open. We will be returning to the pool on Monday 14th September from 8:00 - 9:00pm

Please fill out the below Google Form to register for a class. Siblings will need to fill out separate forms. If classes are full, a waiting list will be in operation. We will be in touch at the beginning of September to confirm places etc.

We are limited by lane space in the pool as to how many students we can accommodate per lane. We also have a lot of returning students at Rescue levels this year which will also limit the number of new students we can take on in September as they will need to complete their courses before we take on new students. We expect that we may be able to take on some additional new students again after the Halloween/Christmas breaks.

Please Note: Students MUST be 10 years of age AND able to swim a length of the pool (25m) without armbands before joining our classes. Please do not register a student if they do not meet both these requirements. Please do not register if you are not going to take up a place.

Please only register 1 student per form. Siblings need to be registered on separate forms.

******Registration for September 2026 Classes*****

We hope you all had an enjoyable summer break. We plan to be back in Coral Monaghan on Monday 14th September from 8:00 - 9:00.

Registration for classes for Returning Students Only will open later this week. Parents of students who were in classes last term will be contacted by whatsapp with the link to register returning students ONLY.

This allows us to plan for lanes and classes and to see how many returning students/ spaces we have before we open general registration for new students.

General registration will open on Monday 17th August. The Registration Link will be posted on this page to allow you to register.

A very important reminder- in order to join our classes, students must be at least 10 years of age and be able to swim one length of Monaghan Pool (25m) WITHOUT armbands.

Following some enquiries, we plan to run an adults only water safety class for 5 weeks after the Easter Break (13th April to 18th May) from 9pm to 10pm immediately after our normal water safety classes.

Spaces will be limited as we only have 1 lane but if it's something that you would like to try out etc. please email [email protected] to register your interest.

For adult classes, participants need to be able to swim Frontcrawl and Breaststroke (2 lengths of each). We would hope to be able to get that group through an exam before the end of term.
