⚽️ Girls’ Football Friendly Match 🔴⚪️

Our Girls’ Football team faced St. Louis in a friendly match on Tuesday morning. The team, made up of girls from 1st to 4th Year, came up against an impressive St. Louis side and suffered a heavy defeat.

Despite the challenging result, the girls gained valuable match experience and showed great determination. Lily Stewart and Maya Lochner were particularly unlucky not to get on the scoresheet, coming close on a number of occasions!

Well done to all the girls for their efforts and commitment. Plenty of positives to take forward! 👏⚽️🔴⚪️

⚽️ U15s and U19s vs Castleblayney College ⚽️

Two tough results today, but both teams played well and should be proud of their efforts.

U15s – Lost 7-2
Jeffrey Sloan got us on the scoresheet with a brilliant long-range strike into the top corner. Daniel Carleton then rounded the keeper to finish into the bottom corner, and he was very unlucky not to add a few more.
⭐ Man of the Match: Caleb Mulligan

U19s – Lost 6-2
Jake Gillanders levelled things at 1-1 in the first half with a great finish from a tight angle. Lewis Duffy then beat two players on the edge of the box and slotted neatly into the corner to make it 2-1. Collegiate had chances to extend the lead, but Castleblayney College fought back and kicked on in the second half to take the win.
⭐ Man of the Match: Liam McElvaney

Well done to both squads. Onwards to the next one! 💪

🍝🎭 Psycho Spaghetti - A Journey Inside the Teenage Mind 🎭🍝

This morning, our TY students enjoyed a performance of Psycho Spaghetti, a comedy created by Ger Carey for Transition Year audiences. It looks at the challenges and stages of growing up with plenty of humour, and shows us how to laugh at ourselves too.

Thank you to Ger Carey and The Garage Theatre for a brilliant performance, and to Ms McPhilips for organising 🙌

Butlers Chocolate Factory 🍫

Yesterday, our Form 5 LCVP, Home Economics and Business students enjoyed a trip to Butlers Chocolate Factory, where they explored how the world-famous chocolates are made.

The visit included a guided factory tour, a cinema experience and a hands-on chocolate-making activity.

A big thank you to Ms McElhatton, Ms Caulfield and Ms McCaughey for accompanying the students 👏

A great day was had by all! ☺️
