Today marks 'Make Way Day'

Gardai in Westmeath will be supporting this day as part of Operation Enable

This is an annual awareness campaign to highlight and raise awareness around issues that people with a disability face on a regular basis

A no of issues that can arise and cause obstructions are motorists parking on footpaths, e-scooter users or cyclists using footpaths, and people parking in disabled bays without a valid permit to name a few

We would ask that people show consideration to those with a disability so that they can travel as stress free as possible
