A busy June Bank Holiday weekend for us in Kildare.
On Saturday we provided medical cover at TriAthy

Yesterday, we provided medical cover at the Big Weekend for June Fest in Market Square Newbridge & also assisted our colleagues in Carlow Civil Defence at the Carlow Regatta.

Today, we were at June Fest Newbridge Family Fun Day & Gordon Bennnett Display on Emily Square in Athy.
Thanks to all of the volunteers for their hard work over the last couple of days 👏🏽

Some members of Civil Defence attended the 66th International Military Pilgrimage in Lourdes last week. They were part of a group of 68 Civil Defence members from all across Ireland. So many friendships and memories were made on this trip.👏🇮🇪

On Tuesday some of our Volunteers along with An Garda Síochána Kildare National Ambulance Service (NAS) and Kildare Fire Service visited 6th class students on our Emergency Service Roadshow in schools in Athgarvan, Two Mile House, Halverstown & Kilcullen.

We also provided Medical cover at the Mondello Cycle Series Tuesday Evening.

We are wishing our members traveling to Lourdes for the International Military Pilgrimage a safe and enjoyable trip. Civil Defence Ireland Kildare County Council

A very busy weekend for our volunteers.
Yesterday we provided medical cover at the Future Ancestor Festival in Athy.
Today we provided medical cover at the Spin & Sign in Athy, The Naas Community College 5km Colour Run and at the Bealtaine Festival in Naas. Our welfare crew also assisted our colleagues in Dublin Civil Defence with catering at the Dublin Mountains Challenge for Barretstown.
