Sincere thanks to the TY Students of St. Joseph's CBS Nenagh for their assistance in the Castle Garden.

On Tuesday a cheque for €200 was presented to Brendan Murphy - Commissioner For Oaths / Peace Commissioner who accepted same on behalf of Pieta House. This was a contribution made by the Tidy Towns Committee on behalf of the boys in recognition and appreciation of their efforts.

Photos show teachers Regina Mulcahy, Laura Young and Miriam Campion, Principal Karen O' Donnell, Deputy Principals Dermot Brislane and Michelle Russell with some of the boys from Transition Year. Also in the photos representing Nenagh Tidy Towns are Nuala Flannery, Martin & Mary Langton, Victoria Nevin, Cllr JP O Meara, Lalor McGee and Rosemary Joyce.

Very interesting morning at the Scouts Hall today at the Reuse, Repair & Circular Living Nenagh Community event. This was organised by North Tipperary Development Company and sponsored by The Rediscovery Centre. The event featured presentation and discussion led by Mike and Theresia from the Circular Square, Clonmel’s Reuse and Repair Community Hub. Well done to Caroline Shanahan for organising this and great to see the level of support.

We look forward to the ideas being taken forward in support of the Circular Economy.

What a beautiful day it was today and how lovely it was to meet our latest young volunteers as they did some weeding and clean up in the Castle Garden. Thanks a million to the young men from TY in St. Joseph's CBS Nenagh who worked diligently to help remove bindweed, sycamore suckers and other weeds that have been impacting on the lavender plants in this beautiful serene location in the shadows of the two Churches and the
Castle.

Well done and we look forward to engaging with more students next week. Pictures depicting Men At Work!
