Welcome to the official page for Loughcrew, an OPW managed Heritage site. We have free guided tours of the many monuments on the Hill from the end of May until the end of August. When visiting please wear sensible footwear as the climb to the top of the hill is very steep. The reward is magnificent though as you can see 18 counties from the top of the hill as well as being able to visit one of Ireland’s most wonderful ancient sites.
