We are looking forward to welcoming the Irish Wildlife Trust to Lisnavagh this coming Saturday where we will be holding a special event through the woodlands at Lisnavagh finishing up in the Lisnavagh Farmyard “Connecting The Dots: Native Woodlands and Your Creative Response” ❤️🌳

The 2024 theme of Heritage Week invites us to explore the ways we are connected to each other through physical or cultural connections. From Lisnavagh, being a member of Historic Houses of Ireland, we invite you to continue exploring these connections through the beauty of nature.

Thank you and for making us part of this wonderful event.

We would like to thank and acknowledge the Heritage Council for awarding the FarmYard, Lisnavagh with a Traditional Farm Buildings Grant a few months ago. With this award, we are beginning to restore the roof on one of our old farm buildings. This is a part of the development of the FarmYard Project to establish it as a rural regenerative environmental, arts, community, events & education resource centre in the heart of Co. Carlow.

If you are someone who has been inspired by Lisnavagh and would like to participate in a more active way in collaborating we’d love to hear from you! To know more about our Fundraising and the reasons please get in touch.

Sass O'Flynn, Mundy and Alfie Norris music at the Lisnavagh Wellness Festival 2022! When? Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 October from 11am to 6pm, buy your ticket in the link in our bio!

When composing a song, Sass always keeps in mind the importance of words and the need to honour others without plagiarising: Who owns the words? Aren't they the universal language to communicate with each other?

And speaking about honour… Mundy is a fiercely independent songwriter who values his artistic freedom more than commercial sales figures, a trait that has delighted his fans and allowed him to become the artist he is today. Through his songs, Mundy showcases his eclectic styles in Rock, Americana, Folk and Indie music.

And what about Alfie Norris?! He is an Argentine musician but with Irish heritage focused on National Argentine Rock, folklore and tango.

They will be amongst others, stay tuned for more information about the different artists performing at the Lisnavagh Wellness Festival.

The Lisnavagh Wellness Festival is a showcase for many teachers, musicians, facilitators, speakers, healers, thinkers and artists to share their gifts in community. The intention for the festival is to create a space for people to reconnect with themselves, each other and nature. We believe that this embodied remembrance that we are nature is what leads to holistic wellbeing.

In the secular and disconnected society we live in today these spaces of community, collaboration, celebration, creativity, connection and remembrance are needed, now, more than ever to guide people home to themselves. The connection to nature is at the heart of what we are creating at Lisnavagh, and is what, we hope, will be the core thread in weaving a more fulfilling and balanced way of living.

As ritual and ceremony are important aspects of reconnecting with land and culture, we will have an opening and closing fire ceremony to open and close the weekend with collective intention. This beautiful opening will be followed by a delightful array of indoor and outdoor workshops, classes and live music sessions that will reset your being with yoga, meditation, music, dance, hurling, tai chi, cacao ceremonies, creating with nature, sound healing, forest bathing, shamanic journeys and mantra singing.

When? Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 October from 11am to 6pm. For more information and tickets visit the link in our bio!
