The WEEE Ireland Schools Battery Recycling Competition is back!
We need 10 full boxes (of used batteries) before the end of April 2026 to be in with a chance of winning a €2,000 sports equipment voucher for our school.
Please put your used batteries in the blue WEEE boxes outside Joan’s office. Thank you.

Here's a ticket availability update for the Roscommon Drama Festival which opens tomorrow night from 7.15pm with a drinks reception. The festival will be officially opened tomorrow by special guest Xnthony Keigher and tickets for shows are available from box office on 09066 25824 and from www.roscommonartscentre.ie

Join us for our March monthly lecture in the Rathcroghan Visitor Centre, on this Tuesday, March 10th at 8pm.

Following the business of the meeting, a lecture will be given Alan Healy who is the Community Archaeologist with the Farming Rathcroghan Project from 8.30pm.

Alan works directly with local to identify and protect features and to develop practical actions that safeguard while promoting .

Over the past decade, he has worked across all stages of archaeological fieldwork on major infrastructure schemes in County Roscommon, including the N61, N60 and N5 road projects.

Alan is also involved in , an Irish Research Council–funded postdoctoral project investigating six coastal shell middens in County Sligo and their wider landscape context.
