🚜The Local Enterprise Village is back for 2026!

📅The Village will open it's doors at the National Ploughing Championships from the 15th - 17th September in Screggan, County Offaly

There will be over 30 Local Enterprise Office supported clients in the Village covering a range of sectors from food, drink and fashion to farm safety, bovine genetics and machinery.

💡There will be Specialist Local Enterprise Office Business Experts on site for anyone with a business that needs some advice or a budding entrepreneur with a great idea who doesn't know how to start!

💻Google will return to the Village for a second year with their Gemini AI team to show businesses how AI can help improve their bottom line!

🚢The Enterprise Europe Network will also be in the Village to help businesses who want to open doors into European markets.

A national consultation is underway to inform Enterprise 2035, Ireland's new long-term enterprise strategy. Sligo County Council is seeking feedback from local businesses, entrepreneurs, organisations and stakeholders to help shape a County Sligo response. The questionnaire only takes a few minutes to complete and is an opportunity to influence future policy on innovation, skills, competitiveness, investment and regional development.

DisrupTech on Tour – Bringing €40 Million in Innovation Funding to Sligo

DisrupTech on Tour is coming to Sligo on 2 September 2026, giving local businesses an opportunity to learn more about Call 8 of the Disruptive Technologies Innovation Fund (DTIF).

With €40 million in funding available, DTIF Call 8 supports collaborative research and innovation projects involving businesses and research organisations developing disruptive technologies.
