This is Biscuit 🍪
Before Easter, we were learning about Rabbits so he came for a visit today.
Biscuit is blind and needed the children to be extra quiet for him as he gets nervous sometimes. The children were all so good to him 🥰
Biscuit is now helping us to understand how it might feel to be visually impaired. We discussed the use of guide dogs, the 'bumps' on the footpath and the SOUND that the lights make when it is safe to cross the road. Next week we will invite the children to cover their eyes with a scarf so they can experience what it might feel like.

Yesterday the children were welcomed to activities inspired by Goldilocks and the Three Bears and The Tiger Who Came to Tea. In celebration of World Book Day each child brought a book of their choice to share with the group 🙂

Last week we decided to bring the curiosity of a message in a bottle to life. It all started when a group of children were playing a new fishing game.
One child made a discovery:
"Look, a message in a bottle" he shouted with delight.
"What is the message in the bottle?" another asked.....and this is where the conversation around a message in a bottle came to be.
The children designed their own messages and added them to our bottle.

THEN WE HAD AN IMPORTANT NOTE FROM ONE OF THE CHILDREN: "You are not allowed throw things into the water!"

So we have decided to hide our bottle in playschool in the hope that another group will find it sometime 🥰🥰
