Laois FF CDC will hold a meeting tomorrow, Tuesday the 14th of April at 8PM in the Killeshin Hotel, Portlaoise. Agenda to discuss retirement of Cllr. Padraig Fleming, SuperDraw, upcoming events and hustings for confirmed candidates in co-option.

A Chara, we are saddened to hear news of the death of long time party member, Stradbally Treasurer and Cumann delegate Carmel Delaney (née Hickey).

Requiem mass on Tuesday at 11am in the Sacred Heart Church Stradbally, followed by interment in St Brigid's Church grounds Ballintubbert.

If anyone is available at 10:30 outside the church in Stradbally for a guard of honour please.

I write to inform you of, and invite you to, a Special Ard Fheis, which will take place on Sunday 19th January, 2025, in the Radisson Hotel, Golden Lane, Dublin 8, D08 VRR7.

Pursuant to Rule 66 of the Córú agus Rialacha, where Uachtarán Fhianna Fáil recommends entry into a coalition government, a draft Programme for Government must be presented to voting members at a Special Ard Fheis for approval. As you know, the Ard Fheis is the supreme governing body of the Fianna Fáil organisation.

Proceedings will commence at 12 noon.

Uachtarán Fhianna Fáil, Micheál Martin TD, will present the draft Programme for Government to voting members and formally propose the draft Programme for approval. Members will have an opportunity to contribute to the debate. Following the conclusion of this discussion, polling will open. Voting will conclude at 5pm.

The draft Programme for Government will be published on the Party’s Website (www.fiannafail.ie) once it is completed and ready to issue.

Please note all full voting members (VOTE F) of the party are eligible to be delegates to this Special Ard Fheis and vote on the Programme for Government. Please register as a delegate today to attend the Special Ard Fheis by logging on to fiannafail.ie/ardfheis or by calling Party HQ on 01-6761551.

Finally, I wish to thank you for your efforts during our recent very successful General Election Campaign. Fianna Fáil was returned as the largest Party in Dáil Éireann and received the highest number of first preference votes. This was down in no small way to you and your efforts. Thank you for your work on behalf of our organisation and candidates. Your continued support and commitment to Fianna Fáil is greatly appreciated.
