Unfortunately I was not able to retain my seat in Tallaght South - but the fight doesn’t end here, it starts here ✊🏼

The only thing to cut across FF/FG councils or governments who refuse to act on the issues affecting us is to force those in charge to act!

I’m proud that we never strayed away from our anti-racist socialist politics throughout the campaign.
Thanks for the couple hundreds first preference votes, thanks for the support over the past couple years ❤️. Big congratulations to my colleagues Ruth Coppinger Cllr John Burtchaell - Solidarity - Blanchardstown Mulhuddart and Brian McCarthy and all those on the left re-elected !

This will be my final video before the vote tomorrow, I want to thank everyone who has helped out in the campaign in any way at all - I really appreciate it 👏🏼

No matter what happens this election, our local activism continues!

Ahead of the vote tomorrow think about what type of council you want representing you, who will put the interested of regular people forward? and who will continue with the status quo?

Today myself and Kevin Shortall, Principal for St. Aidan’s Community School, spoke about the importance of the community in Tallaght South showing up and using their vote to ensure the demands of working-class people are heard!

You are voting in LOCALS and EUROPEAN elections tomorrow. Please be aware these are two separate election ballots, fill each ballot out separately in your order of preference. A common mistake is people filling out both ballots with one order of preference between them- do not accidentally spoil your vote!

Very disheartening as a young working class activist to see my posters slashed and pulled off of poles.

I am unsure if this is a deliberate attack on my election campaign, but one thing I will say is that no intimidation will cut across my socialist principles! However, the conscious slashes and attempts to burn my posters say otherwise!

On top of this, we are a smaller party compared to some - we take NO funding from businesses, all our funds for posters and materials are raised from public donations and members subs.

And so it begins…..

Local elections 2024: I am running in the Tallaght South area for Solidarity- The Socialist Party!

We need to keep socialist, working-class fighters on the council. I am asking for your support and #1 vote in the locals!

We need to create and movement to fight for ‘homes for young people NOT plane tickets’ and how to do that is adequately funding our vital services and resources!
