Construction in the village is winding down and we are excited to be showcasing the many improvements (have you seen the planters!?) made during our grand reopening today, June 3.

Join us at 12pm outside of the Maxol where the Mayor of South Dublin County Council will be saying a few words to commemorate the event.

And while you are there, maybe treat yourself to some lunch in the Village. It is Friday, after all.

Updates on the works in and around Templeogue Village.

Currently works are progressing as follows:

Paving has now been completed on the Southside of the village up to the Tennis Ball monument. Red anti-skid on the south side cycle lane has now been laid, however the quality of finish has been raised and the Contractor has committed to improving it. Works to the southside around the Tennis Ball and the Tennis club cannot be completed until the North Side at Fifty 50 are completed as the carriageway would not be wide enough for the traffic to pass.

The northside surface water drainage pipe has been laid past Fifty 50, in a combined trench with the ESB works and SDCC Traffic Ducting.

Two way traffic has now been reinstated from the exit of Maxol eastbound towards Terenure.

The Laneway beside Maxol / Tara Kadampa will be closed from Monday the 7th till Friday the 11th to facilitate Public Lighting works and the Paving in this area.

A Templeogue Open For Business sign has now also been erected at the beginning of the road closure.

01/03/2022

Notice: Temporary closure of the pedestrian lane behind Maxol.

There will need to be a temporary closure of the walkway behind Maxol from the 7th to the 11th of March, to facilitate repaving works.

The residents will be notified and signage will be put up.
